The iconic Fry’s Chocolate Factory buildings in Keynsham have been redeveloped into The Chocolate Quarter, a luxury retirement village run by St Monica’s Trust.

Kensington worked with Plantcare Ltd’s landscaping team to install 2 bespoke timber shelters in the stunning rooftop gardens. The aim was to create a sheltered and comfortable place for residents to relax and linger amongst the greenery.

One of the shelters incorporates a wall and Perspex ‘window’, providing a windbreak and evoking the feeling of a summerhouse. The other is open. Both create comfortable shaded areas for residents to enjoy.

Constructed of high quality treated timber with slate effect roof tiles the shelters create a rustic, cozy atmosphere in the gardens. The shelters are securely fixed with steel posts bolted underneath the tiles.
