Kensington worked with Rydon Construction and Mitchell Eley Gould to provide shading solutions for the new self-contained Sixth Form building at Redmaids’ High School in Bristol.
Formed in 2016 from the merger of two of the South West’s finest girls’ schools, Redmaids’ High provides an outstanding education for girls aged 4 to 18. With over 500 years of combined experience, the opportunities and facilities available to its students equip them with the skills and confidence to make their mark in today’s world.
The new building incorporates motorised blackout blinds and roller blinds to provide blackout for the curtain walling the hall. Manual blinds are used in the classrooms and motorised rooflight blinds for the skylights.
