School Dining Canopy at Great Wyrley Academy

Great Wyrley Academy, located in the Staffordshire village of the same name, decided to install a large Spaceshade canopy in a courtyard to create additional dining space.

The main canopy was connected to the existing building with a smaller walkway section. The sheltered location chosen by the school also helps to provide additional shelter from the weather. As part of the installation the school also chose to install artificial grass underneath the canopy.

The new canopy allows the school to relieve pressure on indoor dining facilities and create an extra recreational space for students to use at lunchtimes.
