King Ina Academy is a newly built school combining the three previously separate parts, the Pre-school, Infants and Junior schools, now merged under one roof. With all these new arrivals came the need for as much outdoor play and dining area as possible. Kensington was contracted by BAM construction and was able to fully meet the design requirements with a very large 40m Spaceshade modular aluminium school canopy that extended nearly the whole length of the school. This provided a safe, dry and entertaining area for the students all year round, and continues to prove its worth with covered space being what we do best.
