Products: Spaceshade Lux School Canopies System – walkway canopy
Location: Verwood, Dorset
Specifier: Hillside First School
Kensington were approached by Hillside First School in Dorset to come up with a School Canopies covered walkway solution to give the children protection from the elements whilst thye moved from classroom to classrom. Kensington installed their renowned free standing Spaceshade Lux system, this is system utilises the renowned robust GDX goalpost component which allows this School Canopy system to be placed anywhere on a clients premises where shelter is required, even in exposed and gusty locations.
What the Client said: We’re delighted with our covered walkway from Kensington Shade and Shelter. It has added an extra dimension to our outdoor space. It fulfills its function of keeping children dry as they travel around the school site but also works architecturally in the environment. The muted greys of the powder coated finish work in harmony with other structures on the site and enhance the setting as well as forming a visual link with the outdoor classrooms.
The installation was highly professional and we were consulted and kept informed throughout the process. The installers worked beyond their normal hours to make sure our canopy was completed in the time.
