Product: Curtains and track systems, also roller and vertical blinds
Sector: Healthcare
Location: Bristol
Hampton House Health Centre in Cotham, Bristol has undergone a complete refurbishment and fit-out to provide a Day Release Medical Centre.
The original hospital, opened in 1920, was built by the Wills family in memorial to one of their sons who was killed in the First World War. Work started on the refurbishment in August 2005, with the majority of works taking place internally.
Much of the internal structure of the old building had to be demolished and a new structural steel frame installed, respecting and retaining some of the original architectural features and unusually-shaped windows. This allowed the building to be completely re-modelled to suit the new healthcare services offered. A cross-section of Kensington Systems’ products were specified for the fit-out including vertical blinds, roller blinds, curtains and track systems.
